Kirkwood High Junior Wins a Brand New Car at the 18th Annual Pass and Go

More than 1,000 students and family members gathered at Wyatt Johnson Toyota on Saturday, August 1, for the 18th annual Pass & Go celebration hosted by the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation.

The event honored CMCSS sophomores, juniors, and seniors who earned qualifying scores of 3, 4, or 5 on Advanced Placement (AP) exams. CMCSS saw a record number of students pass their Advanced Placement (AP) exams. For six straight years, the number of proficient exams has increased. In the history of Pass & Go, we also saw the highest percentage of proficient exams. The AP pass rate has improved from 55% in 2022 to over 70% in the 2025-2026 school year.

More than 30 students won prizes, including gas cards, AirPods, iPads, laptops, and a brand-new 2026 Toyota Corolla. The grand prize was awarded to Kirkwood High School junior Lilah Sullivan, courtesy of Wyatt Johnson Toyota.

“I am proud to celebrate with our students and families,” said Dr. Jean Luna-Vedder, Director of Schools. “Their focus, determination, and perseverance are evident as they continue to break records each year.”
