Algebra 1 is the foundation for the rest of your math career! I am very excited to be working with you this school year. Algebra 1 will focus on expressions, equations, functions and some statistics. This class will involve lots of class participation, group work/collaborative learning, projects, classwork, independent practice, and assessments. I have high expectations for all of my students and will do my best to help you achieve those and I expect the same hard work from you.

Procedures:

1.Obtain supplies and put backpack In proper location.

2. In seat when tardy bell rings.

3. Phones and earbuds out and put away, pocket or bookbags only (not on desks or in laps).

4. Begin bellringer

5. I Do: Do not interrupt and do not do anything but look and listen while I instruct.

6. We Do: We work through problems as a whole group.

7. You Do: You complete Independent practice requesting help from teacher and peers In group.
