My name is Chris Montjoy, and I’m honored to teach Personal Finance, Supply Chain Management II (Year 3), and Supply Chain Management III (Year 4) at Kirkwood High School. I was born in Germany as a military brat but have always considered Clarksville home. After graduating from Northeast High School, I earned my degrees from Austin Peay State University, where I played football and baseball, before serving 10 years in the U.S. Army as a pilot and logistics officer.

After my military service, I earned degrees in Criminal Justice and Education and built a career in law enforcement and logistics, including serving as a Lead Asset Manager with Boeing Sikorsky. I have more than 18 years of supply chain experience. This is my third year at Kirkwood, and I’m excited to launch the SCMA Academy's first Year 4 course. I look forward to partnering with students and families for a great year.

Supply Chain Management II (Year 3): Management and Logistics
Supply Chain Management II builds on foundational supply chain concepts by focusing on logistics, operations management, and business planning. Students develop skills in inventory control, transportation, project management, order processing, and problem solving while using industry practices and technology. The course emphasizes professionalism, communication, ethics, and decision making to prepare students for postsecondary education and careers in supply chain management.

Supply Chain Management III (Year 4): Capstone
Supply Chain Management III is the capstone course in the Supply Chain Management program. Students apply advanced knowledge through real world projects, work based learning experiences, and industry focused problem solving. The course emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, data analysis, process improvement, and collaboration while preparing students for college, industry certifications, and careers in logistics, operations, procurement, and supply chain management.

Personal Finance
Personal Finance prepares students to make informed financial decisions that support their personal and career goals. Students learn essential skills related to earning income, budgeting, banking, credit, debt management, taxes, insurance, saving, and investing. This course fulfills Tennessee's required Personal Finance graduation requirement and equips students with practical financial skills they will use throughout their lives.
