When asked as a kid what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always had two answers: a soldier and a teacher. I have the unique opportunity of accomplishing both. I am retired from the Army and entering my sixth year of teaching. I am extremely passionate about history, especially government, and making it fun for students.

                         Recommended Supply Lists

AP Government

  • A minimum of a 1.5” 3-ring binder is required (all course material will be kept in the binder).
  • Minimum of 10 binder dividers
  • A spiral/composition notebook or loose-leaf lined paper
  • Pencil - Extra lead and erasers
  • Highlighters (at least 3 separate colors)
  • Colored Pencils
  • Sticky tabs (optional, used for quick reference in notes)
  • Note Cards for Vocabulary
  • Corded Headphones

US History

  • A minimum of a 1” 3-ring binder is recommended to keep all course materials in an orderly fashion
