Welcome!
The first week of school will be all about getting to know one another and building our community space. I would love it if you were willing and able to bring in some supplies for the purpose of better learning!
The classroom still needs the following:
- Highlighters
- Lined notebook paper
- Tissues, tissues, and more tissues (Learning is lost when a student needs to leave just to blow their nose.)
- Pens and pencils
- Markers and/or colored pencils
- Post-it notes
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and putting faces to names. I respond best to email as I forget I have a phone most of the time. Send me a message if you have any questions or concerns.
Classroom expectations are simple:
- Demonstrate respect. This includes people and property. We will hash out what that looks like in this context when we all get together.
- Come prepared and ready to work, engage, and learn.
